[I was going through my old blog, and I found this. I wrote it when I was 15. I read the popular guy version, and decided to write my own. Then after mine circulated, I saved it in my blog. (Keep in mind that I was young. lol)]

this guy made a list like this, and posted it in a bulletin. It sorta found it’s way to one of my friends and…

I read the one about the guy.. and got inspired. <3

I’m sorry
that I’m not a slut, 
like the other girls you go for

I’m sorry 
that I have enough self-respect to say no
and to wait

I’m sorry 
that i’m not ‘hott’
or ‘sexy’ enough for you

I’m sorry
that I actually call you once in a while
just to say hey

I’m sorry
that I’m old-fashioned,
and want guys to make the first move

I’m sorry 
that you can’t take a hint.
or two, or three, or ten…

I’m sorry
that I pay more attention to you than you do to me
and that you mean more to me than I do to you

that I’m shy and self concious.
I can’t help it

that I listen to you complain about all these girls that hurt you,
while you ask yourself why..why can’t you find the one?
And how I stay silent though my mind is screaming 
” I’m right here! Right in front of you! Why can’t you see that?”

that I waste my time 
on you

that I supported you 
in everything you ever went for

I’m sorry 
that I can’t ever measure up to 
your “dream girl”

I’m sorry 
that I’m smart, and funny,
and so many things that you’re going to miss 
because you don’t even notice me

I’m sorry
that I’m “such a good friend”
but you never make time for me.

I’m sorry
that I used to stay up til early morning
to make sure you were okay after some girl screwed you over.

I’m sorry  
that you’re too blind 
to realize what you do to me.

I’m sorry 
that all my problems got pushed aside,
so I could solve all yours.

I’m sorry
that I won’t be here forever,
waiting for you to wake up and understand.

I’m sorry
that you’re probably not even reading this.
because you don’t care enough to.

Mostly,

I’m sorry
about how bad you’ll feel,
when I find my guy,
and you’re all alone,
left with thoughts of how it could have been,
realizing that I could have been yours.

I’m sorry I even had to come up with this in the first place.
